WWII US Army Signal Corps Knife With Leather Sheath, Colonial Mfg. Stock # SP COMM. This Colonial made US Army Signal Corps “pocket knife” is all original and comes with the correct brown leather belt sheath. Looking somewhat like a huge jackknife, the knife has a 6” handle with black Bakelite plastic grips, and a 4 & ¼” semi-clip-point blade marked ‘COLONIAL, PROVIDENCE RI”. The blade is carbon steel. There is a second, smaller blade, but we can’t get it out. The blade is pretty stiff and hard to open, but some gun oil and TLC should fix that. Condition of the knife is 80%, there is freckling on the blade. The original leather belt sling is in pretty good shape (85%). It fastens with brass rivets, and is marked “ POUCH, TYPE CS-34 SIGNAL CORPS US ARMY”. This knife will be a nice addition to a WWII knife and/or gear collection, and, as these are getting harder to find, should go up in value over the years. jacksonarmorypower! Civil War Era Antique Bone Handle Side Knife. Marked HAxxx Cutlery Company (we cannot decipher the name of the company) this is a Civil-War era side knife with bone or possibly ivory handles. The knife is crudely made, and has seen a lot of use. The knife is 7.5” in overall length with a blade length of 3.5”. One of the handles is broken and the bottom piece near the rivet is misxsing. The blade is heavily pitted and blood etched with several rust spots, and it has been sharpened, possibly fairly recently. We cannot positively date this knife, but it is quite old, and no doubt has had an interesting history! . WWII OSS Smatchet. These fierce combat knives were made for, and used by field operatives of the OSS (Office of Strategic Services) in WWII. The OSS was the forerunner of the current CIA. The smatchet is un-marked ( as country of origin would certainly endanger the operative if captured!), and comes with the original case. This is a rare original WWII item that would enhance a militaria and/or knife collection. |

WKC Imperial German Senior Forestry Officer Hunting Dagger. As confirmed by the WKC (Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co) catalogue, this dagger dates to the early 1900’s, Imperial Germany. This dagger was a bring-back from a WWII Veteran. Marked WKC and also marked with factory logo this dagger has a beautifully engraved blade, and the brass fittings have aged to a handsome patina. Genuine ivory grips with acorn inserts on both sides really set this off. The leather sheath exhibits normal shrinkage one would expect for it’s age, however this does not detract from the overall appearance of this fine peace. This belongs in an advanced dagger collection. |

US Navy Officer’s Sword With Scabbard. This is a regulation US Navy Officer’s Sword, probably circa WWI-WWII era. The sword blade is engraved with scrollwork, and also engraved “USN” There is no name on the blade. The ricasso is marked: “ Pasquale, San Francisco.” These swords were (and still are) private purchase, and they have been made by many different makers. The sword grip is in great shape, we believe it to be white sharkskin with gold wrap. The guard itself has “USN” on it, and it has tarnished to a very nice patina. The leather scabbard is in excellent condition. If you have a Naval Officer’s dress uniform in your collection this would be a great accessory. Unique WWII 98K Bayonet W/ Scabbard & Frog, GI War Trophy. Stock # SP Comm. Serial # 49xx. This K98 bayonet comes with a non-matching scabbard and the correct (non-marked) leather frog. The bayonet is maker-marked 43 cvl, and is in very good condition, with a straight blade, and about 85% of the blue finish remaining on the blade. The unique thing on this bayonet are the grips, which have been replaced with heavy Lucite (probably cut from an aircraft cockpit) and below the lucite on both sides are the flags of the USA, France and Russia. A lot of GIs customized their war trophies in this fashion, and it really is a true period piece that just screams “I Was there!” This is just one of over 100 or more bayonets we have at Jackson Armory – most are not online, call us w/ your needs. jacksonarmorypower! WWII Rare “OL” Maker Full Length M1 Garand Bayonet With Scabbard. Stock # BAY1DJ. This is a WWII GI M1 Garand bayonet with scabbard, made by “OL” (Oneida), which is a very scarce and desirable maker. The bayonet is still in the full 16” length. The bayonet was made in 1943, and is so marked on the ricasso, along with the “OL “ and US and the US Ordinance Dept. “flaming bomb” emblem. The blade is intact, and it has many pits and freckling, none of the finish remains. Blade condition is about 75%. The grips are pretty good, they rate 85%, and the attaching button works just fine. The scabbard is a bonus with this bayonet, is is a WWI scabbard for the ’03 Springfield, the tip is missing and there is electrical tape wrapped around the top. This is a much sought-after maker, and this is a very reasonably priced m1 Garand bayonet. Original Unshortened Werndl Mod. 1870 Bayonet. This original Werndl bayonet escaped being shortened, as so many were. The bayonet is a Yataghan style, popular in Europe at the time, and was the original model adapted for the Werndl Model 1867 Rifle. Due to the many blades returning from the field in broken condition, Armorers tended to shorten them, and only a few in the original length remain, and they are now prized by collectors. This bayonet is in very good condition, the blade has only minor foxing and has acquired a nice patina. The scabbard is in good condition as well, retaining about 85% of the original finish. The ricasso is marked “C&J”. There is minor pitting on the right side of the quillion. *All items for sale/auction are also for sale in our retail store and on other websites, and are at all times subject to prior sale. * |

WWII German Dress Bayonet. The bayonet is marked: “RICH. ABR. HERDER SOLINGEN” and has the Herder factory logo, and is otherwise un-marked. There is no scabbard. The polished nickel blade is in excellent condition, and the handles, guard and eagle-head hilt show honest wear, but still retain about 95% of the original finish. The leather bolster is loose, but in good condition. This is a good representative example of a German WWII Dress Bayonet, and is a bargain as there is no sheath. |
