Antique Flobert .22cal. Target Pistol. Stock # SP COMM. Serial # 4xx. This elegant .22caliber Flobert single-shot target pistol has some rather ornate and delicate engraving and stock carving that gives this collectible antique pistol a very genteel look. To wit, the front and rear of the barrel exhibits finw engraving, and the hammer and triggerguard are also finely engraved. The carving on the pistols stock is just amazing, the photographs do not do it justice! As for condition, most of the finish is missing from the barrel, although almost all of the finish remains on the triggerguard, hanmmer, etc, so overall finish rates 85%, there is quite a bit of minor freckling on the barrel. The stock has aged nicely, rating 85%, and again, the carving is exquisite. The bore is a bit dark. The pistol has a real “hair trigger” and also just a slight touch of the hammer will fire the gun. This is a very collectible firearm that will enhance your collection, and it should prove to be a nice investment also. 1855 U.S. pistol Carbine with repro stock. C-EF2. This pistol is in good condition with a nice patina developing on all of the action parts and the tang. The barrel is lighter steel with a fair amount of pitting near the percussion nipple. The primer tape compartment is still intact, it swings tightly on its hinge but does not stay tightly closed. The stock is an attractive repro that fits well with a little wiggle, and its finish closely matches the pistol wood for an attractive overall appearance. Both original sling swivels are still present and strong, and the adjustable sights are still crisp. Overall this pistol is a nice piece and would make an attractive addition to a really nice collection. Bacon Arms Antique .32 Cal. Boot Pistol. Manufactured in the late 1800’s by Bacon Arms in CT (their marking is on top of the barrel), this boot pistol has the seldom seen ‘long” 6” barrel (most had shorter barrels). The concealed-carry gun of the day, the pistol is chambered for .32 caliber, it is single shot and the octagon barrel pivots on the half cock to load. This pistol is in pretty good condition for it’s age. The finish is mostly gone and it has aged to a fine patina. The bore is surprisingly very good, although we certainly don’t recommend that you shoot this pistol. The wooden grips are well used, but intact. Australian WWII 1942 MKIII Brass Flare Pistol With Holster. Stock # F-2. Serial # 12xxx. Dating to 1942, this pistol has all correct British Empire proof marks and other markings. It is also marked “CSR Sydney.” The pistol has a 5 7 ½” flared barrel and is in excellent condition, however it appears that the large screw on the frame near the barrel has been replaced. The pistol also comes with a very interesting leather military holster. The holster is interesting in that the “belt loop” is inverted – it is, in fact, not a belt loop at all, but rather a loop to attach the holster to (most likely) a vehicle! The holster is not marked. Again, with the exception of the replaced screw, this pistol is in magnificent condition, and it belongs in a very advanced WWII collection. Webley #3MK1 British Naval Flare Gun. Stock # F-7. This WWII 1942 proofed Webley flare pistol fires 1 & ½” shells and was intended for naval use. This is an early version, and it is in pretty good shape the grips are a bit dirty but not cracked and the lanyard ring is still there. There is no finish left. The pistol fires double action only.
