| Colt 1860 Army .44 Revolver. Stock # 3CSP. Serial # 171xxx. This Colt Model 1860 Army Revolver, chambered for .44 percussion, is just post-Civil War, dating to 1868. The pistol is in overall excellent condition, and certainly is an investment-quality antique firearm. Almost all of the finish is gone, and the pistol has acquired a nice patina. There is no visible rust or pitting, however there is abundant freckling on the entire gun, and a few minor scratches on the barrel. All Colt markings, including the Colt New York address on the barrel, while somewhat faint, are still all visible. The cylinder scene is also faintly visible. The pistol ‘s 3 serial numbers all match. Grip condition is very good, with only minor wear, most notably at the bottom front of the left grip. Mechanically, the pistol retains all 4 cocks in the action, trigger pull is smooth, and the bore condition is surprisingly fairly good. This is a very nice 1860 Colt Army. This gun is an antique.
