RARE Nicely-Marked Japanese WWII Machine Gun Sling. Stock # SP COMM. Measuring 31” in overall length, this WWII Japanese brown leather sling has very visible painted Jap markings on the inside. We believe (but are not sure) this sling is for one of the heavy Japanese machine guns. The leather is still supple, but fading, and condition of the sling is about 70%. Vintage Laflin & Rand Gunpowder can. Stock # DJ COMM. This is a vintage, empty, one lb. gunpowder can. The old paper label on the can indicates this was Laflin & Rand Orange Extra Sporting Hercules Powder”. The metal can is red with a black screw-on cap. The red paint has darkened a bit with age, and there are a few scratches here and there, but no rust or dents. As is evident in the photos, the paper label is freying and tearing on the edges. Very Large 2 Liter Antique German Beer Stein, 1910. Stock # SP COMM. We will pretty much let the photos describe this Old, and very large (14” in height) beer stein. The inscription on top of the ornate pewter top indicates, in German, that this stein was presented to an individual in 1910. The stein will hold a whopping 2 Liters of your favorite brew (hopefully German beer!). The stein is hand-painted, and the only markings on the bottom are the numbers “569” and “1126” (no maker mark). The wording painted on the stein in old Germanic Script is: “Ulmenraulch u. Edelweiss,” and “Sind der Liebe Gbrenpreis.” This is an authentic stein from 1910, NOT a later-made tourist piece, ad it is beautiful! Made by Auto Ordnance Corp, original manufacturers of the Thompson Sub Machinegun, this is a 50-round drum, .45 acp caliber, that will fit a full, or semi-auto Thompson 1928, or 1921 model. Also known as a “Type L” magazine, it has a dull blue finish, the Auto-Ordnance Thompson logo on front, and it is nicely marked on front and back. Two Pairs of Faux Aged Ivory/Stag Grips For The Bisley Revolver. Stock # SP COMM. This is 2 pairs of grips for a Colt (or a Uberti, or other Italian Copy) Bisley revolver. The grips are faux aged ivory or maybe aged stag? (not sure what the actual material is, maybe plastic or polymer?). Both sets of grips have been aged with colored cuts to look like the grain on stag. One set of grips is sort of an orange color, the other set is yellowish. We do not know who the maker is. Both sets of grips are in very good (95%) condition, we do not have the grip screws for these. If you want to dress up and/or give an “Old West” look to that Bisley single action, here is an inexpensive way to do it! You could even put the pair of these you like on your gun and sell the other pair at a gun show, and probably get most of your $$ back! *RARE* Avro Ojala Hollywood Movie SAA Fast-Draw Holster Rig. Stock # SP COMM. This is a very rare investment-grade collectible Avro Ojala Single Action “Fast Draw” holster rig, designed and made by the very famous Avro Ojala. Most of these holsters were used in the Hollywood Westerns, and they cost hundreds of dollars, even back in the day! Avro Ojala was a famous “Quick-Draw Artist” and movie/TV actor – if you remember “Gunsmoke” Avro Ojala is the guy James Arness guns down at the start of each show. Among the Hollywood actors Avro Ojala taught to shoot were James Arness, Robert Culp, Clint Walker, James Garner, Paul Newman, Henry Fonda, etc. Ojala was also famous for the holster rigs he designed and made. This vintage holster is made of the highest quality leather, and it is in excellent (95%) condition, with no issues with stitching, etc. Avro Ojala’s trademark is prominently stamped on the back of both the belt and holster. The holster will accommodate a Colt Single Action with either a 4 & ¾” or 5 & ½” barrel, it has belt loops for 30 bullets. The holster is black on the outside and brown on the inside, it has a rawhide leg strap and a loop for the pistol hammer. You very rarely see these rigs for sale, and if you are a Single Action Enthusiast, or you like old Westerns, you need this holster for your collection. WWII Luger Holster 1937, Maker Marked. Stock # SP COMM. This is a WWII German P08 (Luger) holster with honest wear, and some minor damage that can be repaired. The holster is waffenampd WaA204 on the back, it is also dated 1937, and maker marked, however we cannot discern who the maker is. Made of black leather, the aforementioned “minor damage” is exactly that-some of the center stitching on the top flap has come loose, and this can be repaired. There is quite a bit of wear to the front flap and lots of scratches on the front, but all the remaining stitching is good. The holster still has the pull-strap inside, and the tool compartment is in great condition. There are no interior markings on the holster. We would rate the holster’s overall condition at about 80%. There are lots of nicer holsters put there, but this one has seen combat and history, and that gives it a lot of character! This magazine increases the 1903’s capacity to 20 rounds by removing the floorplate and inserting this box magazineand follower. Unique 1901 Hardware Store Receipt For Colt Pistol, Holster, and Miscellaneous. Stock # SP COMM. A very unique find for the Colt Collector, this receipt from McGregor-Noe Hardware Company in Springfield, MO, is dated April, 1901, and lists, among other items, purchase of “1 only Colts pistol 41/2 in N.P. Bbl N.N with 1 only Universal Holster “. The “Colts” pistol sold for the exorbitant price of $12.50, ands the holster was an additional .50 cents. Some of the other items purchased were nails, rinsing pans, iron washers, a “sugar kettle,” and etc. The receipt is in really good condition with a few minor spots on the right edge of the paper, and the folds are visible, however all writing and printing is visible, and there are no rips or tears. It looks like the itemized items purchased were typed on the receipt, and there is some hand-written “ciphering” at the bottom of the document where the bill was tallied. The receipt is affixed (not sure how, as we did not open it) to white cardboard, and it is sealed in plastic. If you put this in a nice old wooden frame it would make a great display with your Colt pistol, and the document …COULD…be used in a rather unethical manner in a box with a Colt pistol to enhance it’s value…….. jacksonarmorypower! Mein Kamph by Adolf Hitler, 1939 English Edition. Stock # SP COMM. Published originally in 1924 when Hitler was imprisoned in Landsberg Prison following the ill-fated “Beer Hall Putsch” in Munich, this is the English Translation of Mein Kamph (“My Struggle, or My Battle”), published in 1939 by Hurst and Blackett, London. The book has a blue jacket with the very early Nazi Party eagle and swastika emblem in gold color. Inside the book is a photo of Hitler with an autopen signature. The book is in good condition for it’s age, the pages have yellowed a bit, but there are no torn pages, and the binding is pretty good. We are used to grading the condition of guns and not books, but if this was a gun it would rate 80-85% condition. This book was the Nazi’s “Bible” and it shed alot of insight into the mind of Adolf Hitler. The whip looks to be pretty old, but it’s in really nice condition, except for the tip, which is a bit frayed, and the leather wrist strap is broken.
