Fox Studios Hollywood Marked Antique Trapdoor Springfield. Stock # RTTD. Serial # 464xxx. This Springfield Armory Model 1884 “Trapdoor” rifle has “FOX STUDIOS” stamped on the left side of the barrel, indicating it’s use by that Hollywood studio as a movie prop gun. An authentic Model 1884, chambered for .45-70, the rifle is otherwise in very good condition, it may have, at one time, been a New York Militia rifle, the right side of the buttstock is stamped “N.Y.M.P. CO.” At any rate, finish condition rates about 80%, with some minor scratches. Besides the Fox Studio property mark, all of the original markings, including the “V. P. (eagle)” are clear and visible. The buttplate is marked “US”, and there is some rust on the buttplate. Stock condition is not bad at all, rating 85%, with lots of service scratches, but no cracks. Bore condition is good, and the lock and trigger work just fine. For a gun that was a military rifle, and then had a second career in the movies, this old warhorse has survived very well, and is now ready for it’s third career – starring in your collection! This rifle is an antique – as such, with proof of age 21 or older (required for purchase) we can ship the gun directly to your home, an FFL license is not required. jacksonarmorypower! Heritage .54cal. Hawken Rifle – NICE! Stock # SPH SP COMM. Serial # 248xxx. Made in Italy, this high-quality .54 caliber percussion Hawken rifle was truly made for hunting and target shooting, and not just as a pretty wall-hanger. A very hefty rifle, it has a 29” octagon barrel, and features a Monte Carlo-type stock, brass fittings (including the patchbox) a brass rammer, engraved brass lock, and an adjustable rear sight. The rifle has seen some use, but is still in great overall condition. The deep blue finish on the barrel still rates 90-95%, although there are some scratches on the barrel from use. All brass parts have just enough age to give them a nice patina, and, of course, you could polish them up to be shiny, if you want to. The stock is heavily varnished and looks good, but there are small service dings all over it – minor, but a lot of them, so we’d rate the stock at 90%. The bore is great, and trigger pull is surprisingly very nice. If you hunt with blackpowder, you truly will not find a finer Hawken Rifle at any price, and of course, this is also a great rifle just to shoot and enjoy, and when not in use it will display great on the wall or above the mantle. We do not have the box for this gun. Blackpowder guns are not regulated. With proof of age 21 or older (required for purchase) we can ship the gun directly to your home, an FFL license is not required. US Civil War 1863 Springfield, Cut-Down, Antique Rifle. Stock # RTCD. A great way to obtain a genuine US Civil War musket at an affordable price, this .58 caliber US Springfield had the military stock cut down after the war for sporting use – this was common practice with thousands of these muskets. The stock has been sanded and refinished on this gun, thus what remains has a current condition of 80%. The lock and barrel are in Relic condition, with no finish remaining. Portions of the Eagle and Springfield inscription are visible on the lock, and the “V” “P” “eagle” markings are still visible towards the rear of the barrel. The bore is also relic condition, the lock has both cocks remaining, and it works fine, you could probably still shoot this old musket, if you were so inclined, after a Gunsmith checks it out for you. As mentioned, if you are a beginning Civil War Collector, this is a great way to get an authentic Civil War rifle at a very cheap price, and this can be your shooter and/or wall hanger as you upgrade your collection. This firearm is an antique, and as such, with proof of age 21 or older (required for purchase) we can ship the gun directly to your home, an FFL license is not required. US Model 1816 Harper’s Ferry Conversion Musket. Stock # SP COMM. No Serial #. This is a Model 1812 US Musket, manufactured at the famous Harper’s Ferry Arsenal, that has seen a whole lot of history, and has a whole lot of character. Converted to percussion, the lock is faintly marked “Harper’s Ferry, 1818.” The barrel has been replaced with a 39” barrel from a Model 1816 musket, and it is a smoothbore fowler now, of somewhere like 69 or larger caliber. The brass buttplate, well-tarnished, is original, and still marked “U.S.” the rear sight is missing, and the sling swivels do not look to be original. There is a very interesting stock repair in the form of a brass band just behind the lock at the front of the buttstock. Stock condition is 70%. All the finish is gone, and, as mentioned, the barrel is a smoothbore, and it is very dark. Nonetheless, this rifle has seen a lot of history, both in it’s original form, in military service to our country, possibly against the British, and certainly later in percussion form, in the Civil War, and who knows if it served the Confederacy or the Union (or both!) in that conflict, and then it was used in the “Wild West” as a fowling piece – what a history! This old war horse is now ready for a well-deserved retirement, possibly on display over your fireplace. This is an excellent opportunity to obtain a genuine Harper’s Ferry musket at a very affordable price. This rifle is an antique, and as such, with proof of age 21 or over (required) we can ship the gun direct to your home, no FFL license is required. Trapdoor Springfield Model 1884, New York State Police Militia Marked. Stock # TD-4. This Model 1884 Trapdoor Springfield .45-70 rifle has markings on the top and left side of the buttstock indicating that it was issued to the 13’th New York State Police Militia, thus adding scores of collectability to the rifle. The rifle is in great overall shape, the bore is fairly good, finish is about 85% and the stock is really nice, with only minor service dings (overall stock condition 90%). Besides the aforementioned NY markings on the stock there is also a very clear cartouche on the left side of the stock. British Empire 3’rd Model India Pattern Conversion Musket. Stock # SP Comm. This 75 caliber India Pattern musket has been converted to percussion. The musket barrel has been cut to 34” (overall length is 50” ). The rifle has been re-stocked with a half stock, however the lock and brass furniture is all original to the gun. The ramrod is a modern, aged, reproduction. The lock is correctly marked with the British Crown and “G.B.” and “Tower.” Obviously, in original flintlock, full stock, and all correct, this musket would cost in the several thousands, but it is a true conversion Trade Musket that is very representative of the history of this famous weapon, and it is priced quite affordably. This is an antique, and as such, if you are over age 21, we can ship the firearm directly to your home, no FFL license of FBI NIX check is required. Rare and Unusual Nickel Plated Sharps Shotgun! This rifle ( well, shotgun, actually!) does not have a serial number, and there are no markings of any kind on it. This is an original Sharps that, we believe, has been altered from a rifle to a shotgun (about 16 gauge). This has been cleverly done, and it has also been nickel plated, but it begs the question, “Why would someone do this?” We believe the answer is, possibly, that this shotgun was used by a “marksman” in a Wild West Show. In those days, Wild West Shows had marksmen that wowed and amazed the crowds with their amazing shooting skills, such as shooting objects they would throw in the air, etc. To accomplish this, in the real world, with a cartridge gun is near impossible, however to do it with what appears to b e a rifle, but is actually a shotgun, is much more easily accomplished. The fact that this Sharps, with it’s buffalo-style forend, was nickeled further adds to the possibility that this was a Showman’s gun. Of course, this hypothesis is just our theory, but that fact notwithstanding, this is a very unusual, and thus, highly collectible Sharps cannot be disputed. This odd rarity should be a great investment and will enhance your collection as well. *All items for sale/auction are also for sale in our retail store and on other websites, and are at all times subject to prior sale. *

Civil War Whitney Plymouth .69 cal. Musket. Used by the US Navy during the Civil War this is a nice example of a Whitney Plymouth Musket. In .69 caliber the barrel and lock have aged to a brown patina. Bore is good, stock is good. The lock is marked “Whitneyville “ and dated “1864.” The butt is marked “US.” Except for the finish, this very fine Civil War musket is almost museum quality, and would enhance any advanced collection. This collectible antique musket is also very good buy for the price, and should be a good investment that will appreciate over time.
