HEYM 88-B Professional Hunter in 500NE new in box MSR141103 The Professional Hunter(PH) is HEYM's answer to requests for a well-made, reliable, and accurate double rifle - without the aesthetic extras. Jacksonarmorypower! This is a 2010 factory new, right hand 88-B PH in 500 Nitro Express. List on this gun is $17,000. This is an ejector gun. The Bolstered frame is mated to 26" Krupp Steel, Hammer-Forged Barrels. It has a flip rear sight and a brass bead front sight. The furniture is a gorgeous European walnut. This rifle has a Beavertail forend and a Monte Carlo stock with shadowline. The pistol grip stock has a 14 ½” length of pull with a factory Decelerator Recoil Pad. The drop at the comb is 2”. The drop at the heel is 2 ½”. It has a slight cast off to the right. It does have sling swivels. Some of less obvious but truly important features are an articulated front trigger, cocking indicators and an intercepting internal sear. An intercepting sear prevents accidental discharge if a cocked firearm is dropped or sharply jarred. On a gun with intercepting sears, only by pulling the trigger are both sears moved out of the way simultaneously, allowing the gun to fire. This is a rifle built for function. But never forget that if the function is correct beauty will surely follow. The 88-B PH is built specifically for those that value quality over embellishment. This PH simply lacks the action engraving that some shooters find superfluous. Rest assured that no corners have been cut in this model. RARE Winchester Model 70 Super Grade .270, Mfg. 1942. Stock # MSR212902TTS. Serial # 56xxx. Very rare in .270 caliber, this magnificent Winchester Model 70 Super Grade was manufactured in 1942. The rifle has been professionally restored sometime in the past, and it now is in about 95% condition, with only minor service marks here and there on both the deep blue finish, and the gorgeous deluxe checkered wooden factory Monte Carlo stock. The rifle has a flip-up rear sight and a ramp front sight, barrel length is 23”. The rifle has a crisp bore with strong rifling, and trigger pull is very smooth. This rifle harkens back to a more genteel era when hunting was a Gentleman’s pastime, and his rifle reflected his standing. This is a magnificent Weatherby .300 Magnum bolt action rifle, one of the first Weatherby rifles produced in California. A truly gorgeous rifle, it has a varnished, checkered Monte Carlo stock, and a deep blue finish. The rifle has Redfield scope rings and mounts, and also a very high-end leather sling. Despite the handsome appearance, these rifles were made for heavy field use in all types of environments, and to that end, the rifle has a factory chrome lined barrel. Condition of the rifle is great – a few minor service marks on the barrel here and there – these are very unobtrusive, and almost no wear whatsoever to the stock – overall condition of the rifle is 95%. BRNO M1898/22 Mauser 8mm Rifle. Stock # MMR212908SP. Serial # E16xx. Looking a bit like a cross between a VZ-24 and a 98 Rifle, the Czech M98/22 is an 8mm bolt action Military rifle that was used by Turkey and other nations prior to WWII. The rifle’s crest is marked “ceskoslovenska ZBROJVKA BRNO” this marking, and the Cyrillic markings on the ramp sight, indicate that this rifle saw Turkish Military use. The rifle has a very faint import mark on the left side of the barrel. Serial numbers do not match on the rifle, pretty much all the numbered parts have different numbers. The rifle is in good condition, some minor service marks on the finish and stock, but overall condition is 90%. The rifle has a crisp bore with good rifling. Basically, what you have here is a shooter-grade example of a Pre-WWII Czech-made Turkish Military rifle, made at the famous CZ factory in BRNO. The rifle is not perfect, but it is inexpensive and will serve as a nice filler in your collection until you can upgrade, and in the meantime you have a great 8mm Military bolt rifle that you can shoot and enjoy. Japanese Type 99 Rifle, 7.7mm, Shooter-Grade. Stock # MMR212814SP. Serial # 84xx. This is a WWII Japanese Type 99 Rifle, chambered for 7.7MM, that someone has sanded the stock and turned down the bolt, making it a sort of “sporter,” although they did not cut the stock. Not that it matters now, but the serial number on the bolt matches that on the receiver. Finish and stock condition rate 85%, the bore is full of what looks like sawdust, and it needs a good scrubbing. The “anti-aircraft” sight is missing the wings, so you can forget about taking out that pesky 747 that flies over your house (well, they told you not to buy a house near the airport!). The mum is ground off also……pity! Well, if you clean this rifle up it might be a good shooter, and it certainly has some good parts you can maybe use. Remington 1903-A4 Sniper, All-Correct, 2-1943, W/Scope & Sling. Stock # MMR212615SP. Serial # 3408xxx. For the Advanced Collector, this is an all-correct WWII Remington 1903-A4 Sniper, complete with a correct leather WWII GI sling and the correct GI-Issue Weaver Scope. The rifle has a R.A. barrel, dated 2-43. Everything on this rifle is correct and where it should be, including the “R.A. (ORDINANCE MARK) and F.J.A.” cartouche on the left side of the stock, the cartouches on the bottom of the stock, and the “Circle P” cartouche below the grip. This rifle is not a CMP gun, nor does it have any importers marks on it. The rifle is in excellent (95%+) condition throughout, including the original stock and the parkerized finish. The bore is crisp with strong rifling, and bolt operation and trigger pull are both smooth. For the Collector looking for a good 03-A4, it would be difficult to find a finer example than this rifle! Carcano M 1891 6.5mm Carbine W/Folding Bayonet. Stock # MMR212705SP. Serial # SE4xx. If you are collecting the many variants of the Carcano, this Model 1891 Carbine, with integral folding bayonet is one that you need to fill your collection. Chambered for 6.5mm, the rifle bears the stamp of the GARDONE VT arsenal on top of the barrel. The rifle has lots of freckling both on the barrel and receiver, finish condition is 75%. The stocks are a little nicer – some dings and service marks, but overall stock condition is 85%. The rifle needs a good cleaning and lube, but the bore is crisp with strong rifling, and trigger pull is about what you expect from a Military bolt rifle. Mussolini’s Troops used these rifles all over Africa and Europe, they are interesting to collect, and, for now, they are reasonably priced! We do not have any accessories for this gun. Antique Swiss Vetterli M.81 Rifle. Stock # SP COMM. Serial # 223xxx. Used by the Swiss Army before and at the turn of the century, the bolt action Vetterli M.81 Rifle is chambered for 10.4mm (.41 Swiss). A very long and heavy rifle, it was nonetheless an technological advancement for the day, and a very durable and reliable Military rifle. This example is in overall very good condition. The left side of the receiver is marked “Waffenfabrik Bern” “M.81” and the serial number. All serial numbered parts are matching, there are no importers markings anywhere on the rifle. The finish has acquired patina over the years and there are some very minor service marks on both finish and stock, the front band is missing, but overall the rifle rates between 85-90% condition. The bore is a little dark, operation of the bolt action and trigger pull are fairly smooth for a Military rifle. This is an interesting early bolt-action rifle, and it is one that won’t cost you an arm and a leg to add to your collection! We do not have any accessories for this gun. Antique Chassepot Model 1866 Rifle 11mm. Stock # SP COMM. Serial # 40xxx. The Chassepot Rifle, also known as the French Fusil Modele 1866, was a very important historical Military firearm, as it was the first production Military bolt action rifle adopted and used by a nation. The nation was, of course, France, and the Chassepot was used in the Franco-Prussian War. After the war many captured Chassepots were put into Prussian Military use. The Model 1866 was bolt action, and it utilized a needle-fire mechanism to fire the 11mm cartridge it is chambered for. This rifle was built by MAS at the famous Chatellerault Arsenal – this arsenal marking and the Model designation is faintly visible on the left side of the receiver. There are no markings on the crest, there are French proof marks and the serial number also faintly visible on the receiver and barrel, there are NO importers markings anywhere on the rifle, also no stock cartouches are visible. The finish is NRA Relic condition – complete patina and freckling. The wooden stock is pretty nice, it has darkened with age, and there are lots of service scratches and dings, stock condition would rate about 70-75%. The rifle has a dark bore. The bolt action is a bit stiff, but we believe a good clean-up and lubrication will help the bolt function smoothly. Trigger pull is smooth for a Military rifle. This rifle will display nicely, and it will be a great addition to your collection. Made by Browning in Belgium, the bolt-action rifle has a really nicely grained checkered wooden Monte Carlo stock. And an engraved floorplate and trigger guard. RARE Vet Bringback G98/40 Rifle WWII 8mm. Stock # MMR110909RT. Serial # 80xxe. Chamber-marked “jhv 42” this is a very rare Mauser G98/40 8mm rifle, in great condition. The rifle is a GI-bringback, it has NO importer’s markings anywhere on the rifle. It does have excellent crisp waffenamps and serial numbers, as well as a great stock cartouche. All serial numbers, including the stock are matching, except for the bolt, and this is probably a field replacement. Most of the finish is gone, and what remains has acquired a patina, but there is no visible rust, and we rate the finish at 60%. The stock has many dents and dings, as one expects on a battle rifle, but there are no cracks, and overall stock condition is about 85%.The rifle has a crisp bore with very good rifling, and trigger pull is smooth. Obviously, if the bolt matched on this rifle we would be asking many more hundreds of dollars for it, but it nonetheless is still quite a rare WWII German rifle, and it will be a great addition to your collection, and due to the degree of rarity, we still believe this to be an investment-grade firearm. RARE Japanese Type 99 Trainer Rifle Non-Gun. STOCK # JL COMM. No Serial #. This Japanese Type 99 trainer is a non-gun that cannot chamber or fire ammunition, but the bolt action and trigger “work.” These rifles were used as trainers, and since they were not captured in battle and did not shoot, only a very scant few were brought back by GIs after the war. The rifle is the same size as a Jap Type 99 rifle. It has the maker’s logo on the crest, but it never had a mum, as the rifle was never in the actual service of the Emperor. The rifle is in pretty good condition. Most of the finish is gone, and there is considerable freckling, finish condition is about 60%. The stock is nice with minor wear and service marks, rating 90%. The rifle does not have a bore, of course. This very rare Jap Trainer will sell quickly, especially at this price! Spanish M1916 7Mmm Carbine, Dated 1931. Stock # MMR202308KT. Serial # Y87xx. This Spanish M1916 military rifle is chamber dated 1931, and bears the Oviedo Arsenal marking on the crest. Chambered for 7mm, these carbines saw action during the Spanish Civil War. The rifle is possibly a Vet bring-back from WWII, there are NO importers markings anywhere on the rifle, but it could also be a surplus import before the 1968 Gun Control Act. Serial numbers on the rifle do not match, and overall condition of the rifle, stock and finish, is pretty rough, we rate it at about 65-70% overall. The bore has good rifling, but there are bits of frosting. The bolt action operates smoothly, and trigger pull is about what you expect on a military rifle. This is an inexpensive Spanish Carbine that has seen a lot of history, and it has not been messed with in any way, it will be a nice addition to your collection. This is a very early (hence, collectible) FN SPR, the rifle was actually made by Winchester (US Repeating Arms) under license of FN in Herstal, Belgium. Designed for heavy duty Police and SWAT tactical work, the .308 caliber bolt-action rifle has a very heavy 27” barrel, a black synthetic stock, it is fitted with a Military-style Leupold MKV LRT scope, and it comes in a heavy-duty lockable aluminum case, with the factory paperwork. The rifle is “used” but it is in as-new (95-98%) condition, and that includes the finish, stock, the shiny mint bore, and also the scope optics, and the case. This is one of the finest tactical rifles available, and if you are a Professional, you won’t go wrong with this rifle. Remington 1903-A3, February, 1943, WWII. Stock # MMR211501SP. Serial # 348xxxx. This is a very nice representative example of a WWII Remington 1903-A3 Rifle, chambered for .30-06. The rifle has a R.A. barrel with a 2-43 date, and there is a “P” inspector mark on the bottom of the barrel. The rifle’s original stock has the “circle P” cartouche on the bottom of the grip, and there is a faint “F JA” cartouche and very faint US Ordnance cartouche just above the trigger guard. There are NO importers markings anywhere on the rifle. The rifle is in very good condition, both the original parkerized finish and the stock rate about 90%, with only minor dings and service marks. The rifle has a crisp bore with strong rifling, and the bolt action operates smoothly, trigger pull is also smooth, for a military rifle. 98K Mauser dot 1943 8mm, ALL-Matching, RARE Walnut Stock. Stock # MMR173505RT. Serial # 82xx m. Made by dot (Waffenwerke Bruenn), in Nazi-Occupied Czechoslovakia for the WWII German Military, this very collectible K98 8mm Mauser has a chamber date of 1943, a VERY RARE walnut stock, and all serial-numbered parts match, there are NO importer’s markings anywhere on the rifle. The rifle is complete with sight hood and cleaning rod. The rifle is in great collection – the stock has some service dings, and one notable small gouge on the left side above the trigger guard, and one smaller nick just forward of this one. There are no visible cartouches, and overall stock condition rates 85-90%. All of the markings and waffenamps are clear and legible on the barrel, receiver, and other metal parts of the rifle, The original blue finish has some service marks, and it has acquired some patina over the years, and finish condition rates 85%. The rifle has a crisp bore with strong rifling. The bolt action operates smoothly, and trigger pull is smooth as well. Made for the WWII German Gebirgsjager (Mountain Troops), the G. 33/40 has extra reinforcing metal on the buttstock – the idea was to help the Mountain Troops when they were climbing. The rifle is chamber marked “dot 1942,” indicating it was made by Waffenwerke Bruenn in Brno, Czechslovakia. The rifle has a mis-matched bolt, however it is a correct G. 33/40 bolt. The rifle is in great condition, some service marks and patina, but overall both the stock and finish rate about 90%, this is a nice rifle! Carcano M91/28 Carbine, 6.5X52mm. Stock # MMR194415RT. Serial # G98xx. This Carcano 91/28 carbine has the Terni Arsenal marking on top of the barrel, and is also stamped “1928” indicating year of manufacture. Chambered for 6.5mm, this is a handy little carbine, and lots of these saw service in WWII, mostly in Africa with Italian Troops. Serial numbers on the receiver and stock do not match, there are NO importer’s markings anywhere on the rifle. It has a factory adjustable rear sight, the cleaning rod is missing. The carbine is in very good condition, some wear and service marks, as you would expect on a military rifle, but condition of finish and stock rates 90%. The rifle has a crisp bore with good rifling. The bolt action operates smoothly, and trigger pull is fairly smooth for a military rifle. There are quite a few verities of Carcano rifles and carbines, and they are interesting, and, FOR NOW, affordable, series of rifles to collect! British P14 .303 Mfg By Winchester. Stock # MMR192205RT. Serial # W128xxx. Manufactured by Winchester for the British during WWI, this is a P-14 rifle, chambered for the British .303 round. The rifle has an Armorer’s disc on the left side of the stock, and it has very faint importer’s markings on the bottom of the barrel. The rifle has British proofs on the receiver, the bolt has been force-numbered to match the serial # on the receiver. The rifle is in great condition, most of the original finish remains, and condition of the finish is about 90%. The stock has the normal service dings and dents you expect on a military rifle, and it rates about 85%. The rifle’s bore has very light frosting, but the rifling is still good. It has a smooth trigger pull, and the bolt action operates smoothly. This is a very collectible WWI British military rifle with a Winchester pedigree, it needs to go to a good collection. Springfield Armory Model 1903 National Match Camp Perry Rifle. Stock # C-TT. Serial # 1267xxx. A remarkable find for the Advanced Collector, in excellent condition, this is a star gauged, Springfield Armory National Match Camp Perry Model 1903, in .30-06. The rifle has a receiver and barrel date of May, 1926. The rifle has the straight grip stock, and all serial numbered parts are matching, including the bolt. The stoch has the “DAL” Inspector’s cartouche on the left side, and the “circle “P” mark behind the triggerguard. The rifle has a checkered metal buttplate and a knurled cocking piece – a word about that, as we know a knurled cocking piece may be a concern for some - While a ‘standard” Camp Perry rifle did not have a knurled one, it was an available option as per J.C.Harrison’s book, “The Collectible ‘03” –the source we used to authenticate this rifle. The rifle is in excellent condition, the original finish is wonderful, rating 94%. Stock condition is excellent as well, rating 95%. The star gauged crown gauges less than a “1’, and the bore mint – shiny with crisp rifling. This rifle is all original and correct, and it’s a museum-grade specimen that belongs in an advanced collection. Brazilian 1908 7mm Mauser Rifle – Bargain Priced. Stock # MMR192008CEE. Serial # 19080xxxx. This is a pretty dinged-up Brazilian Contract 7mm Mauser, but the gun has possibilities that we will discuss momentarily. First – rifle condition- it’s not good, the rifle has the original military stock and it is badly beat up with lots of dings, dents and cracks. Finish condition is poor, lots of pitting and freckling, most of the Brazilian crest is gone from the receiver, and there are importer’s markings on the bottom of the barrels. The bore is dark. Now for the possibilities – first, the 1908 Brazilian action is one of the strongest large-ring Mauser actions ever made, and if you are building a custom rifle, this is a great action to use. Secondly, if you are a gun show wheeler-dealer, and you havE time to give this gun some TLC and clean it up, you might could make a hefty profit on it! Winchester Model 70 Super Express .375 H&H Magnum W/Nikon Scope. Stock # MSR180302TTS. Serial # G179xxxx. Ready fir the African Plains, Alaska, Montana, or your Winchester Collection, this is an exceptionally nice Winchester Model 70 Super Express, chambered for .375 H&H Magnum. The rifle is fitted with a Nikon Monarch scope, but it also retains the open sights, the rear sight folds down when not in use. The rifle is in very good condition overall. The factory blue finish has minor wear, but still rates 95%. The beautiful MonteCarlo checkered stock has a nice wood grain, and is in good overall condition, however there are some notable service dings and scratches on the left side of the stock, just below the bolt, so we have to rate stock condition at 85-90%. The bore is good, shiny with strong rifling. The bolt action and trigger pull operate smoothly. The Winchester Model 70 platform is successful in all of it’s chambering, and certainly, the Model 70 has proven itself in all sorts of hunting environments over the years. If you need a large caliber for big game in Alaska, or wherever, you really can’t do much better with Winchester Model 70 quality. The rifle comes with the Nikon scope, a very nice leather sling, and nothing else (no box, papers, or accessories not described herein). Neidner Custom 7mm Rifle. Stock # MSR071404TTS. Serial # 18xx. A truly fine custom rifle for the discerning hunter, the 7mm rifle was built on a Ludwig Loewe Mauser Model 1896 action. The rifle has a jeweled bolt, redfield peep sight, and a high-profile ramp sight on the25 & ½” barrel. The rifle is stocked with a beautifully-grained wooden Mote Carlo stock. Antique DWM Chilean Model 1895, All Matching. 7mm Rifle. Stock # RT COMM. Serial # C22xx. Made in Germany by DWM for the Chilean Military, this is the Model 1895 Rifle, chambered for 7mm. This rifle has a “C-block” serial number, and was originally produced by DWM for the Dutch South African Congtract, but it was re-routed to Chile. The rifle features the Chilean Crest on the receiver, and all serial numbers match on both the numbered parts and the stock. The rifle is in very good condition, there are service dings and scratches on the stock, as you would expect on a military rifle, but no cracks, stock condition rates 85%. Finish condition is nice, rating 90%. The bore is pretty good with good rifling, and trigger pull is what you would expect on a military rifle. This rifle will be a nice addition to a good military collection. As this firearm is an antique, with proof of age 21 or older (a copy of your DL) we can ship the gun directly to your home, an FFL license is not required. Steyr M1912 Chilean Contract 7mm Rifle. Stock # MMR171804RTEE. Serial # B66xx. Made by Waffenfabrik Steyr in Austria, this is a M1912 Chilean Contract “Mauser” Rifle, chambered for 7mm, and used by the Chilean Military. The rifle has the Chilean crest on the receiver, and all numbered parts, except for the cleaning rod, are matching. There is some sort of wording and numbers crudely scratched on the bottom of the barrel, we’re not sure if these are importer’s markings, or maybe someone’s driver’s license? Otherwise, the gun is pretty nice, especially as a used Military rifle. Stock and finish condition both rate 85% with the usual service dings, etc. The bore has fairly strong rifling, and the bolt action and trigger pull operate smoothly. These rifles were sold on the Civilian market, and also used as Military marksmanship training rifles, during and right after WWII. This is a Civilian version, manufactured by Remington in 1946.The rifle is complete with a Redfield pump sight. The rifle has a 30” barrel, and is 45” in overall length. Stock and finish both have handling marks, but overall condition is 90%. The bore is clean with good rifling, the bolt action operates smoothly, and trigger pull is smooth. Post-64 (1965) Winchester Model 70 in .300 Win Mag With Leupold Scope. Stock # MSR174103SP. Serial # 798xxx. This Post-64 Winchester Model 70 is ready to go afield and get you that trophy animal. Chambered for the powerful .300 Winchester Magnum, the rifle has a 6X fixed-power Leupold scope, and it also comes with a leather sling, and a ballistic cartridge holder. The rifle has seen some field use, and that is reflected in the finish and stock condition, both of which rate about 85%, some wear and freckling on the finish, and several scratches on the wood. The rear sight has been replaced. The bore still has strong rifling, and trigger pull is smooth. Antique Winchester 1885 Low Wall Rifle .22 Stock # SP COMM. Serial # 27xxx. Made by Winchester in 1889, this is a great find for the Winchester Collector. Chambered for .22 Long, this 1885 Low Wall Carbine is lever action (falling block) and single shot. The rifle has a 24” round barrel, Winchester markings are faintly visible on top of the barrel. The rifle is in pretty nice overall condition. The finish has aged to a nice patina with mild freckling, finish condition is about 75%.The stocks are really nice, some service marks, but no cracks, stock condition is 90%. The rifle’s bore could use a good scrubbing, but it is crisp with very strong rifling. Trigger pull and operation of the lever action is smooth. This rifle will display nicely, and it will be a very good addition to your collection. We do not have any accessories for this gun. Made in 1958, the rifle has a nice factory blue finish, there are some service marks on both sides of the receiver, and also some spots of wear on the tube below the barrel, overall the finish rates somewhere between 90-95%. The wooden stocks have small service dings and scratches here and there, but overall they are nice, rating 90%. The rifle has a shiny bore with strong rifling. The lever action operates smoothly, and trigger pull is also smooth. The Winchester 94 is, without doubt, the most popular lever action rifle in the world, and there are still many thousands of these rifles in “active service” out there getting Deer! Antique Winchester 1886 .40-82 Rifle, Mfg 1898. Stock # AR-EE-2. Serial # 117xxx. Manufactured by Winchester in 1898, this 86 Winchester has a rarely-seen chambering of .40-82. The big-bore lever action has a round barrel that is just over 25” in length and a crescent-shaped buttplate. The rifle has acquired a nice patina with freckling on the barrel and receiver, there are also service marks and nicks on the finish, and we rate finish condition at 65%. The oiled wooden stocks are nice overall, there is one noticeable dent on the right side of the buttstock where an attacking bear hit it (well, ok, it probably banged against a rock!), overall stock condition is good, rating 85-90%. The rifle’s bore is somewhat rough with pits, but it is still shootable. The lever action operates smoothly and trigger pull is smooth. This is the kind of rifle that guys like Teddy Roosavelt and Elmer Keith would take afield on their expeditions, and you will be very proud to have it in your collection! Winchester Model 1876 .45-60, Mfg 1884. Stock # AR01EE. Serial # 47xxx. A very collectible 76 Winchester, this rifle was manufactured in 1884. The rifle is chambered for the rarely-encountered .45-60 caliber, and it has a 28” round barrel. The rifle is in very good condition for it’s age. The rifle still has the dust cover. Almost all of the finish is gone, and the rifle has aged to a fine patina. There is considerable freckling on the barrel, receiver, and crescent-shaped buttplate, however there is no visible rust or pitting. The stocks are really nice, they certainly have service dings and scratches, but nothing major, and no cracks, stock condition is 85%. There is mild pitting in the bore, but it still has strong rifling. The lever action and trigger pull are very smooth. This is a really nice Winchester 1876 in a very desirable and rare caliber, that probably has brought down more than a few Buffalo, and who knows what (or whom!) all in it’s day, and it belongs in an advanced Winchester Collection. Magnificent Engraved Waffen-Reich Winchester 1895 .30-40 Rifle. Stock # MSR163402TT. Serial # 25xxx. This 95 Winchester was completely re-worked and engraved in Germany by Waffen-Reich of Darmstadt. The rifle has been re-barreled to .30-40 Winchester, and it has German proof marks on the barrel. Waffen-Reich’s markings are on the crest of the receiver. The rifle is magnificently engraved, 100 % coverage on the receiver and lever, and it has a beautifully grained and engraved wooden Monte Carlo Mannlicher style stock. The rifle also has a Williams peep sight. Condition of this rifle is awesome, finish and stock both rate 98%. The bore is shiny and minty. This rifle was probably custom-made in the 1960’s for an American Military Officer, who then brought the gun home with him to the USA. Stevens Model 44 Ideal .22LR Rifle. Stock # MSR152012SP. Serial # 72xxx. This very collectible Stevens Ideal rifle is chambered for .22LR, and it is in nice condition. The lever action rifle features a crescent buttplate, and ramp rear sight. Condition – wise, the rifle’s finish rates about 90%- with some evident freckling, especially on the barrel, but there is no rust or pitting. Stock condition is pretty good as well, rating 90%, with only minor service dings. The bore needs a good cleaning, but it is good, rating 85-90%. Trigger pull is smooth, however the spring tension in the hammer is a bit loose, and this will probably need adjustment if you plan on shooting the rifle. Rare US-Marked Winchester Mod 1885 Winder Musket. Stock # SP COMM. Serial # 124xxx. Chambered for .22 Short, this is a very rare and desirable Winchester 1885 Winder Musket. US Ordinance marked on the tang, this rifle is in very good condition. The rifle features a 27” barrel, and adjustable rear peep sight. Overall condition is very good. Finish condition rates about 85%, with some normal wear, mostly on the right side of the peep sight, and some wear on the barrel. There is a small scratch on the right side of the receiver. There is no rust or pitting. Stock condition is very good, 90%, with no cracks or dents. Bore condition is good-very good, and the action cycles correctly with a good trigger pull. This is a rarely seen Winchester that will enhance a fairly advanced collection, and it certainly is an investment-grade firearm as well. This gun is an antique. Pre-64 Winchester Saddle Ring Model 1894, .3OWCF. Stock # MSR141511. Serial # 859xxx. This Collectible Winchester Model 1894, one of MANY MORE (not all are online) that we have for sale at Jackson Armory, is chambered for .30 WCF and it was manufactured in 1919. Most of the original finish is gone, about 65-70% remains, and it has aged to a fine patina with some freckling, but no pitting. Stock condition is 80% with a small dent on the right side of the buttstock, and there are some minor scratches. The bore is somewhat dark, rating 65%. This is an honest, unaltered 1894 Winchester with a saddle ring that will fit just fine in your collection, and it should appreciate in value over the years as well. Savage 99-G Deluxe, Takedown, 300 Savage, 1925 manufacture! MSR140107. This rifle is a wonderful piece of history. This rifle includes both buckhorn style barrel mounted rear sights, and a tang mounted Lyman adjustable rear peep sight. A fantastic addition to this rifle is the compass mounted into the comb, which makes this a true deep woods hunter’s companion. This rifle is a takedown model for ease of storage and transport, especially on a long hunt deep in the woods where backpack storage would be a necessity. The barrel is 24 inches long, and the length of pull is 13 5/8 inches (it was shortened from original length), and the wood looks great with 98%+ original finish remaining and only three miniscule handling marks (about ¾ of and inch in length and 1/16th of and inch apart) on the right side of the comb, and could easily be buffed out. The jewelling on both of the bolt faces is better than 95%, and the jewelling on the inside of the lever is 95% plus as well. The case colors on the lever handle is 95%+ and the blue on the barrel is in similar original condition. The blue on the action has been restored to nearly 100%. This rifle is the consummate hunter! What an addition to any lucky collector’s list!!!
