Enfield No4 MK 1 (T) .303 ,MMR082412RT SER# M32503jacksonarmorypower! This is a WW2 Enfield SMLE No.4 Mk.1(T) - sniper version with scope. The rifle was manufactured by BSA Shirley as indicated by the M47C stamp. The scope is marked TEL,STG.C No.32 Mk.2 Scope #COS1650A. Manufactured by R.E.L (Research Enterprises Ltd., Leaside Ontario, Canada) 1944 480-C. This also has the removable leather lens cover. During the Second World War, standard No. 4 rifles, selected for their accuracy during factory tests, were modified by the addition of a wooden cheek-piece, and telescopic sight mounts designed to accept a No. 32 3.5x telescopic sight. The scope mount rings are marked “792” and “793”. Overall the finish is good. The wood furniture is in overall good shape. The cheek piece is showing some wear. Comes with the original leather sling. Sling leather is still pliable. Some scratches though. In general the SMLE were ones of the best bolt action battle rifles, fast-firing, powerful and reliable. During both World War1, World War2 and the Korean War, a number of Lee-Enfield rifles were modified for use as sniper rifles. Holland and Holland, the famous British sporting gun manufacturers, converted the majority of No 4 Mk I (T) sniper rifles, with the rest converted by BSA and, in Canada, Long Branch arsenal. These rifles were extensively employed in various conflicts until the late 1960s. This also comes with the S.A. No.15 Mk1 Transit Chest for the No.4 rifle with telescope and case. Wooden construction with hinged top. The Enfield T fits very well inside. Chest is painted a uniform olive green but the paint is flaking in places. The case has two front locks and leather carry handle on both sides. Interior is very clean, has internal support system for rifle including padded front and rear chocks. Made by Mauser-Werke in Germany at their famous Oberndorf factory, this is a beautiful and extremely high-quality bolt-action rifle, chambered for the versatile .30-06 round. The rifle is in excellent condition the finish, and the beautiful hardwood Monte Carlo stock with Mauser recoil pad both rate 95%+ condition. The bore is excellent as well (95%) and the bolt action and trigger pull are smooth as silk. Drilled and tapped for a scope, the rifle has an adjustable open rear sight and a ramp front sight. The rifle comes with a nice leather sling. You will love this rifle in the field, and when not in use it will really look nice in your gun cabinet. Browning Sako Action Safari Grade 7mm Mag Rifle W/ Leupold Scope. Stock # MSR152016SP. Serial # 55xxxL69. What do you get when you mate a made in Belgium Browning Safari-Grade rifle in 7mm Magnum with a Sako action, and a Leupold VARI-X scope? Obviously, the answer is the technologically finest, and most handsome high-powered bolt-action hunting rifle you can find! This rifle is all of the above, chambered for 7mm, fitted with a top-of-the-line Leupold scope, and it also comes with a very deluxe leather sling. The rifle has seen a bit of field use, but overall is in very good condition. The finish is very nice, rating 95%+. The deluxe Monte-Carlo stock with recoil pad looks pretty good also, however there are a few minor service dings here and there, but these are very unobtrusive. We believe the stock to be saltwood on the inside, but there is no visible damage to anything on the rifle. The bore is very good, and as you might expect, the SAKO action is just smooth as silk. If you want to hunt in style, yet also hunt with a Belgian Browning and a SAKO action, with a proven, and very powerful cartridge, and also have the best scope and sling available, this is the rifle you need. Remington WWI US Model 1917, Dated Nov, 1918. Stock # MMR150704SP. Serial # 388xxx. A very nice example of a WWI US Military-issue Model 1917, chambered for .30-06. Often referred to as “Enfields,” this rifle was manufactured by Remington, and has a barrel date of November, 1918. Although the movies always show WWI “Doughboys” carrying Springfields, in point of fact, American GI’s in WWI used more of these than the springfields, and there is now a controversy with Historians, many of whom believe that Sgt. York used a Model 1917! Anyway, back to this rifle, it is in very good condition, wit all the correct US Ordinance markings, and it is composed of a mixture of Remington and Eddystone parts. Finish condition is good, about 90-95%. The dark wooden stock rates about 85-90%, with the normal service dings and dents one expects from a military rifle. Bore condition is very good, and the bolt action cycles smoothly. The military-style deluxe leather sling is in great condition, and it is probably a civilian replacement. This Remington 1917 will be a great addition to your collection. Antique Turkish Contract Steyr GEW 88 8mm. Rifle. Stock # RTGEW. Serial # 91xx. Manufactured in 1890 by Steyr, this GEW88 has the Turkish Crest on the receiver, and was a contract rifle made for the Turkish Military. The rifle has the receiver cut, indicating the rifle was modified to accept the newer 8mm “spritzer” bullet. The rifle is in normal condition for an antique military rifle that has seen a lot of use. Most of the finish is gone, the remainder is about 60%, but there is no rust. Stock condition is a little better, rating about 75% - lots of service dings, but no cracks or gouges. Bore condition is fair-good. This is a nice representative example of a Turkish Contract Pre-WWI GEW 88, and the price is very reasonable. Italian Carcano 1918 WWI 6.5mm W/Sling. Stock # MMR133502RT. Serial # AF91xx. The rifle is chambered for 6.5mm, and comes with an original military leather sling. The rifle was manufactured at the famous TERNI Arsenal, and is in very good condition. Winchester Model 54, 220 Swift, Lyman Peep Sights. MSR133206C-BL. This rifle is absolutely beautiful!!! The blue on the action and barrel is nearly mint with only the tiniest handling marks…you would have to sit and stare for a long time to find them. The crown is losing the blue, but this will in no way affect the accuracy of this screamin’ 22 caliber hotrod. The wood in nearly mint condition with no discernable handling marks that I can find, and it has a sturdy straight grain pattern light color with deep tones in the darker waves of the grain. The bore is outstanding, and the sights are in great shape with only a minor dusting of freckling that could be totally cleaned off with a quick application of oil. The rear sight groove on the barrel has a bar plug to keep it in mint shape, and the front sight is a thin post with a steel ball tip (front sight is in 90% blued condition). The trigger is amazing and the sights function flawlessly. The butt plate is in 70% condition with minor freckling. The sling swivels are tight and strong and the leather sling that comes with this is very clean and strong. This is one of the nicer 220 Swifts we have ever had in the store!!! CZ 1938 VZ-24 8mm Rifle, Chinese Issue? Stock # MMR120811RT. Serial # E29xxx. Manufactured by CZ, with their company markings on the right side of the receiver, this 8mm VZ24 has a chamber date of 1938. This was probably a military contract rifle, made just before the outset of WWII, and we believe it MAY have been Chinese issue. The rifle’s bolt has a matching serial number to the receiver. Overall condition of the rifle is about 75-80%, with lots of finish wear and stock dings. The rifle has a leather sling, and there is a blank Armorer’s disc on the right side of the stock. The stock has been arsenal re-numbered 3 times, and none of the numbers matches the serial #. There are no importer’s markings visible on the gun. Bore condition is good, and the bolt action operates smoothly. This is a very inexpensive 8mm VZ24, it’s a really good buy! Japanese WWII Type 99 Sniper With Original Scope, and Full Mum. Stock # MMR140106RT. Serial # 47xx. This 7.7mm all-original Jap Type 99 has the original scope, and the receiver still has the full Mum, hence, this was not a surrender rifle, and probably was taken off a dead Jap Sniper. The rifle is in very good condition, it has the correct turned-down bolt, to accommodate the scope. The scope is the 4X non-adjustable type. The open rear sight is the anti-aircraft type, but it does not have the wings. The stock has one major ding in the butt, and a crack in the stock has been professionally repaired, stock condition rates 85-90%. Finish condition is about the same (85%), all markings, including the Mum, are crisp and visible. Bore condition is good. One of many assorted Military bolt action rifles we have in our store, this 03-A3 was made by Remington, and it has a barrel date of August, 1944. A really good representative example of a WWII-era ’03, this rifle is in very good condition, and it will be a fun rifle to shoot, as well as being a good addition to your collection. The original parkerized finish is good, about 90% remains. Stock condition is also 90%, with the normal service dings you expect to see on a military rifle, but there are no major dings and no cracks. The buttstock is numbered, and there is a small cartouche on the underside of the grip. Bore condition is good, and the bolt action operates smoothly. Swedish Model 1896 6.5 Military Rifle, All Matching. Stock # MMR120503RT. Serial # 283xxx. Receiver dated 1911, the receiver is also has the Carl Gustafs factory markings. Chambered for the reliable and accurate Swedish 6.5X55mm round, the rifle has all matching numbers, and it is in really nice condition. Finish condition is 90% on the erceiver, and 60% on the rest of the rifle, which is, essentially, “in the white. Stock condition is very good, 90%. There is a bronze Armorer’s disc on the right side of the buttstock. Bore condition is very good, and the bolt action operates very smoothly. The barrel cap is missing, and there are importer’s markings faintly engraved on the bottom of the barrel. The rifle still has the cleaning rod, and it comes with a leather military sling. This is a nice “Swede” that will be a good addition to your collection. Antique Springfield Armory US Model 1898 Krag .30-40 Rifle. Stock # RTK1. Serial # 253xxx. A nice representative example of the US Model 1898 Krag, this Springfield Armory manufactured rifle has seen a lot of use, but is still in good collectible condition. Chambered for .30-40, the rifle’s finish rates 60-65% with lots of freckling, especially on the barrel. The bore is fair-good. The stock is not bad at all, it rates 85%, no cracks or major dings, however there is a noticeable black discoloration just rear of the trigger. There is a small circle “P” cartouche on the bottom of the grip. The bolt action cycles smoothly, and trigger pull is crisp. All markings are visible and kegible. This is a very nice Winchester Super Express rifle in .375 H&H Magnum, SN:G1896XXX. The rifle retains an overall condition of 95+%. The 24" barrel has an excellent bore. The stock has a few minor handling marks and no cracks with factory butt pad and LOP of 13 5/8". The bluing is in excellent shape with an abrasion near the muzzle. Remington Model 34 .22 W/ Williams Peep Sight. Stock # MSR133811SP. Serial # 58xxx. An inexpensive shooter with Remington quality, this Remington Model 34 bolt action rifle is chambered for .22 short, long, and long rifle. The rifle has an added Williams adjustable peep sight. The bolt has been chromed or nickel plated, and the bore is pretty nice, although it needs a good cleaning. Finish condition is about 80%, and the stock looks really nice overall, but there is a fairly substantial crack on the right side of the stock, so we rate it 70-75%. With the Williams peep sight this little rifle should be able to drill small game and/or beer cans, and although it is not in mint condition, it is still a Remington, and priced very low! Remington 760 Gamemaster, 30-06. MSR133414BL. This rifle is a game getter!!! It is chambered in the venerable 30-06 and has a detachable three shot magazine for a 3+1 total capacity. The action has been re-blued and it looks great, with approx 95%+ of the new finish remaining, and the barrel has what appears to be the original finish (expertly matched with the re-blue on the action) in 90%+ condition with one small freckling spot just ahead of the forend on the right side of the barrel which is barely noticeable. The shoulder stock has the original finish with some handling marks as would be expected on a true hunter’s rifle, but they are all shallow and superficial…a little work with some fine sandpaper and oil and you would never know. The forend condition is original and excellent. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. If you want a business rifle that will provide years of reliable service, look no further. Japanese Last-Ditch Type 99 Arisaka Rifle – CHEAP! Stock # MMR123510RT. Serial # 25xxx. This is a Japanese WWII “Last-Ditch” rifle, made near the end of the war when production standards were cast aside and the Japs were just trying to crank out as many weapons as they could for defense of their homeland. This gun has all the attributes of a Last-Ditch rifle, i.e. a wooden buttplate, crude bolt, and very crude sight. This was a surrender rifle, and the mum is totally missing. Someone, for whatever reason, has added black paint to the entire front section of the rifle, including the barrel and stock, as well as on the triggerguard. Therefore, we’d rate the finish at 50%. The stock is a little better with only service dings (and the black paint on the front), it’s about 80%. The bore is OK, and the action works just fine, the rifle should be a good shooter. There are no importer’s markings anywhere on the rifle. We are offering this rifle at a very low price, due to the black paint. Winchester Model 70 in 220 Swift, Customized in Germany in the 1950’s. Stock # MSR132106C. Serial # MSR123106C. This magnificent and collectible Winchester Model 70 is chambered for 220 Swift. The rifle was customized in Germany in the 1950’s with the addition of a deluxe checkered stock, and also a high-quality Hensholdt-Wetzlar stock was added. The rifle has a custom, engraved Buttplate and trigger guard, and a leather barrel protector. In very good overall condition, the stock has some service dings, and rates about 85%, finish is about 90%, and the bore is very good. The Hensholdt scope is quite rare and desirable in it’s own right, and when combined with the rifle, you end up with a magnificent and collectible investment-grade rifle that, if you desire, will still give you excellent service in the field. Swedish Model 38 6.5mm Rifle With “Navy” Sight. Stock # MMR123711SP. Serial # 279xxx. This Swedish “Mauser” is chambered for 6.5mm and has the adjustable rear sight known as the “Navy” sight (although this does not indicate the rifle was used by the Swedish Navy). The rifle was made in 1911 at the famous Carl Gustafs arsenal in Sweden, and that is engraved on the receiver. In overall very good condition, the rifle has a really good bore with great rifling. Finish rates about 90-95%, and the stock is about 85%, with the usual service dings you expect with a military rifle of this age. There is an Armorer’s disc on the right side of the buttstock. The rifle comes with a leather military sling. The rifle is missing the barrel cap. The rifle is not matching, and there are very faint importer’s markings on the bottom of the barrel. The Swedish Model 38, in 6.5mm is noted for it’s accuracy and shooting capabilities, and this is a good opportunity to obtain a nice example, with the rarely encountered “Navy Sight,” at a reasonable price. WWII Japanese “Last Ditch” Type 99 Rifle. Stock # MMR091801SP. Serial #12xxx. A very good example of a very late war “Last Ditch” rifle, made in Japan when standard production was set aside, and all sorts of shortcuts were employed. Near the end of the war the Japanese were preparing to arm the Civilian Population to defend against the impending Allied invasion. This rifle typifies the shortcuts they used, with no metal buttplate, crude rear sight, no cleaning rod, crude bolt assembly, and sparsely finished stock. Finland M1891 Rifle, 1940, 7.62X54r. Stock # MMR120813RT. Serial # 07xxx. A nice representative example of a Finnish M91, this rifle has a chamber date of 1940. Used by the Finns to fight the Russians, these rifles saw lots of action. This rifle is also marked “SA” for Finland on the left side of the receiver. This is a shooter-grade (and hence, much less expensive!) rifle. The bolt, and other parts do not match the serial # on the receiver. The stock is quite dinged up, w/some arsenal repairs. Finish is 80%, the bore is fair-good. There are importer’s markings on the left side of the barrel. The rifle still has the original cleaning rod. Manufactured in Belgium by FN this rifle was, after importation, upgraded by Wilson Combat, and both FN and Wilson Combat have their names on the receiver. The Wilson Combat additions include their Armor-Tuff finish, fluting of the barrel, hand-turning of the bolt, a Hogue synthetic stock, and a special Wilson-Combat trigger. This is probably the finest squad scout rifle you could ever hope to find, and this rifle certainly has tactical applications for Law Enforcement as well. The rifle has been gently used, but it is in excellent condition with a minty bore. The rifle is chambered for .308 Nato. It has a 21” barrel and is just over 40” in length. A really nice SAKO .223, made in Finland and built on the SAKO AI action, the bolt action is very smooth and bore condition is very good. The Monte Carlo stock retains the SAKO factory buttpad, and the checkered stock is in good condition, however there are a few service dings. And scratches, but nothing major. Finish is about 90-95% with some wear on the barrel. The scope rings are early original SAKO rings, which add a degree of additional value to the rifle. WWI French Chatellerault Mod. 1907-15 Carbine With Sling. Stock # MMR111501. Serial # 4xxx. Chambered for the 8x54Rmm, this carbine was used by the French Military in WWI. The carbine has an 18 & ½” barrel, and is 37” in overall length. The carbine has been professionally refinished, and the stock and finish looks like it has just left the factory. There is one notable scratch about 1’ in length located midway down the stock on the left hand side. The carbine also comes with a leather military sling and a cleaning rod. DWM Argentine Model 1909 7.65 Engineer’s Carbine. Stock # MMR11310SP. Serial 3 A37xx. Manufactured in Berlin by DWM, these Contract Mauser rifles were made for the Argentine Military, and are designated and marked on the side of the receiver: “Mauser Modelo Argention 1909.” The Argentine Crest is also engraved on the receiver. This is the carbine version, made for Engineers and other special units, the rifle has a 22” barrel and is 42” in overall length. Many of these carbines were converted to other calibers, however this one is still chambered for the original 7.65x53MM. The stock, receiver, and buttplate have matching serial numbers, however the bolt does not match. There are faint importers markings on the right side of the barrel. The stock is in good shape with some minor dents and dings as one would expect on a military rifle. The bore is good, and finish is about 75% or better. Swedish M 96 Mauser 6.5mm 1909. Stock # MMR111011SP. Serial # 25xxxx. This is a nice Swedish Model 96 chambered for 6.5mm. The rifle has a great bore and it is in very nice condition, and also comes with a Russian-style leather sling, and the cleaning rod is still with the gun also. Stock condition is very good with a few minor surface dings here and there. Finish is about 90% with no visible rust or pitting. The rifle has a nice Armorer’s disc in brass and a metal Armorer’s plate on the left side of the buttstock (see photos). The chamber is marked: “ CARL GUSTAFS STADE GEVARSFAKTORI 1909.” The rifle is not matching, and there are importer’s markings on the barrel. CZ Brno Mannlicher, 8x57s. Stock # MSR103101. Serial # 15xxx, Made in Communist Czechslovokia at the famous Brno Arsenal, and chambered for 8x57s, this fine rifle is circa 1947. The rifle has many CZ markings and the barrel is marked “Made in Czechslovokia,” and there is a CZ crest on the receiver. The rifle has a deluxe full-length Mannlicher stock that is numbered on the bottom, however the number does not match the receiver, and it also comes with a nice leather sling. Old World CZ quality is very evident throughout on this rifle. It has double set triggers, and the bore is excellent. Finish is about 98% and the bore is excellent. This is a collectible CZ Mannlicher that is certainly an investment, and it would still be a very viable rifle to use afield. Rare Late War SWP45 98K Mauser. Stock #MR1136. This is a very late war, “last-ditch” 98K Mauser. Coded SWP 45, which indicates Waffenwerke Bruen AG, and 1945 as year of manufacture. The rifle is referred to as “last ditch” as it was manufactured hurridly to be rushed to Volkstrum troops at the front, many of the usual standards of production and workmanship were bypassed. This is evidenced by the non-adjustable sheet-metal rear sight, and the lack of finish on the stock. There are several waffenamps on the barrel, however it does not have matching numbers. The action is tight, and the bore is mint. This rifle is featured on page 242 of the well-known book ”Backbone of the Wehrmacht” by Richard D. Law. WWII Japanese Type 99 “Last Ditch” Rifle, 7.7mm. Stock # MMR071102. This rifle is an excellent example of a very late war Japanese Type 99 Rifle in 7.7mm. Kn own as “Last Ditch” rifles because all attempts at quality control were abandoned in favor of just cranking out large numbers of rifles for use in defending the Japanese Empire. This rifle exhibits all the known traits of a Last Ditch, to wit: black paint on part of the stock and handguard, no buttplate, crude bolt, and overall shoddy workmanship. There is no mum on the receiver. Despite the obvious quality issues, these rifles are quite historically significant, and indeed, quite collectible.

Mauser Argentine Contract Model 1909 7.65mm Rifle. This rifle is in very nice condition, the stock is really nice and has a small but very deep cartouche w/ the Argentine crest on the right side. The action is in the white, and features the Argentine crest prominently displayed on the receiver. The left side of the receiver is marked “DEUTCHE WAFFEN-UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN BERLIN” and is also marked “MAUSER MODELO ARGENTINO 1909.” The stock and floorplate match the number on the receiver, the bolt is mis-matched, but is only one digit off! The Argentine Contract Mausers were some of the nicest Mausers produced, and this rifle, in it’s excellent condition, is a fine example of pre-war Mauser craftsmanship. This rifle would be a fine shooter, and is very collectible. |

NEW
1940’S WWII Vintage Winchester Model 1894 .32WS. Stock # MSR153913SP. Serial # 1486xxx. The serial number of this 94 Winchester indicates it was produced between 1941-1945 – during this period precise records of the year produced were not kept as Winchester was, quite appropriately, preoccupied with producing M1 Garands, M1 Carbines, and other arms for the war effort! During this time, few sporting guns were produced by Winchester, hence this Model 1894 is quite collectible. Chambered for .32WS, the rifle was a “working gun,” and that is reflected in the condition. The finish rates about 80%, with noticeable freckling, mostly on both sides of the receiver. The Winchester markings are strong on the barrel, however they have been completely rubbed off the tang. The rifle has the desirable flat bands. Stock condition is about 85% - it would actually rate a little better than that, however a proud hunter has dotted or “notched” the pistol grip area with 8 little dots, mostly prevalent on the left side (the individual we bought this from said it denotes bucks dispatched by his Grandpa!). At any rate, this just gives the rifle a bit of character. The bore needs a good cleaning, but the rifling is still strong. The lever action functions smoothly, and trigger pull is smooth also. As mentioned, Wartime Winchester sporting rifles, even the venerable Model 94’s, are rather scarce, and are very desirable. This rifle will clean up nicely with a little TLC, and it should prove to be a very good investment. jacksonarmorypower! Magnificent Cimarron Model 1873 Deluxe .357 Rifle. Stock # MSR153901SP. Serial # 92xxx. This beautiful Cimarron Model 1983 Deluxe is an extremely high-quality very faithful reproduction of the famous Winchester Model 1873. The rifle has a 24” octagon barrel, and beautiful casehardening on the receiver, lever, hammer, and trigger. The rifle is finished in a beautiful deep blue with varnished heavy wooden stocks, we hate to gush, but this is really a handsome rifle, and this is what the Winchester 73’s must have looked like when they were “new guns.” The rifle’s overall condition is between 90-95%. The finish easily rates 95% with only the most minor wear near the crown. There are a few stock dings and service marks, most notably a small ding on the right forestock, and some noticeable scratching on the left side of the buttstock near the crescent-shaped buttplate, thus, stock condition is 90%+. The bore is really nice, and the lever action works very smoothly. Chambered for .357 Magnum (it will, of course, also chamber .38 Special) you will have no trouble obtaining ammo for this great rifle. If you are a Cowboy Action shooter, or you just want a great “73” that you can actually shoot, this is your gun. Stevens Model 44 Ideal .22LR Rifle. Stock # MSR152012SP. Serial # 72xxx. This very collectible Stevens Ideal rifle is chambered for .22LR, and it is in nice condition. The lever action rifle features a crescent buttplate, and ramp rear sight. Condition – wise, the rifle’s finish rates about 90%- with some evident freckling, especially on the barrel, but there is no rust or pitting. Stock condition is pretty good as well, rating 90%, with only minor service dings. The bore needs a good cleaning, but it is good, rating 85-90%. Trigger pull is smooth, however the spring tension in the hammer is a bit loose, and this will probably need adjustment if you plan on shooting the rifle. Rare US-Marked Winchester Mod 1885 Winder Musket. Stock # SP COMM. Serial # 124xxx. Chambered for .22 Short, this is a very rare and desirable Winchester 1885 Winder Musket. US Ordinance marked on the tang, this rifle is in very good condition. The rifle features a 27” barrel, and adjustable rear peep sight. Overall condition is very good. Finish condition rates about 85%, with some normal wear, mostly on the right side of the peep sight, and some wear on the barrel. There is a small scratch on the right side of the receiver. There is no rust or pitting. Stock condition is very good, 90%, with no cracks or dents. Bore condition is good-very good, and the action cycles correctly with a good trigger pull. This is a rarely seen Winchester that will enhance a fairly advanced collection, and it certainly is an investment-grade firearm as well. This gun is an antique. Antique Winchester Model 1892 .38WCF, Mfg 1897. Stock # SPW. Serial # 149xxx. This great old Winchester 92 is chambered for .38-40, and it was manufactured in 1897. The rifle has a rare 28” octagonal barrel, and an unusual (probably special order) front sight. The only “alteration” we can find on this rifle is a screw on the tang has been replaced (many years ago). This very collectible Winchester is in great condition. The finish has aged to a really nice patina with some honest freckling, and with the patina it rates 75%. While the stock has some small service dings and scratches, overall it is really nice, and rates 80-85%. The bore on this old workhorse is great, and the lever action seems to work fine with a nice trigger pull. A Texas gun, there is just no telling what history this great rifle has seen over the years, and now it is ready to take a noble position of honor in your collection! Antique 1873 Winchester .38-40 Rifle W/ Saddle Ring . Stock # SPCW1. Serial # 421xxx. Manufactured in 1892, and chambered for .38-40, this is a very collectible 73 Winchester. This great old rifle has seen a lot of use in it’s day, it is one of those guns you wish it could talk! As a result, the rifle is a little “tired” mechanically, but it has aged very well, and looks great. Everything “works” on the rifle, but the action is very stiff, and the bore is in relic condition, so we don’t recommend shooting it. Finish condition is about 70% with considerable freckling on the receiver and barrel. The finish has acquired a very nice aged patina. The dust cover is a replacement, we believe, although it looks to be an original Winchester part. The rifle still has a saddle ring. Stock condition is pretty good, maybe 80% - it looks like something may have been taped on the left side of the buttstock, but the tape outline should easily clean up. This great old Winchester will look displayed on the wall or over the mantle, and it will be a nice addition to your collection. Most of the original finish is gone, about 65-70% remains, and it has aged to a fine patina with some freckling, but no pitting. Antique Enfield 1874 Martini-Henry Rifle. Stock # SPM-1. Chambered for the British .577/450 caliber, this Martini-Henry rifle was manufactured by Enfield in 1874, and is so marked on the receiver. Originally in use as a British Service Rifle, this gun was eventually ceded to the Nepalese Police and Military, and is marked “N.S. N.E.P” on the left side of the barrel, just below the adjustable rear sight. Also, like any British service arm, ther are British proof marks all over the gun, as well as a nice stock cartouche. This is the rifle made famous in the movie “ZULU!”. One of several Martinis we have in stock at this writing, the rifle is in good overall condition for a service rifle of it’s age. Savage 99-G Deluxe, Takedown, 300 Savage, 1925 manufacture! MSR140107. This rifle is a wonderful piece of history. This rifle includes both buckhorn style barrel mounted rear sights, and a tang mounted Lyman adjustable rear peep sight. A fantastic addition to this rifle is the compass mounted into the comb, which makes this a true deep woods hunter’s companion. This rifle is a takedown model for ease of storage and transport, especially on a long hunt deep in the woods where backpack storage would be a necessity. The barrel is 24 inches long, and the length of pull is 13 5/8 inches (it was shortened from original length), and the wood looks great with 98%+ original finish remaining and only three miniscule handling marks (about ¾ of and inch in length and 1/16th of and inch apart) on the right side of the comb, and could easily be buffed out. The jewelling on both of the bolt faces is better than 95%, and the jewelling on the inside of the lever is 95% plus as well. The case colors on the lever handle is 95%+ and the blue on the barrel is in similar original condition. The blue on the action has been restored to nearly 100%. This rifle is the consummate hunter! What an addition to any lucky collector’s list!!! Henry Golden Boy .22 Magnum, New In Box. Stock # MSR133504. Serial # GB 0xxxMD. New in the factory box (the box has tape on it), this ornate rifle is the Henry Golden Boy, a lever-action rifle with a 19 &1/2” octagon barrel, chambered for .22 Magnum. The rifle has a beautifully grained wooden stock, complimented by a deep blue, almost black, finish, and a fully engraved gold colored receiver, with golden colored front band and buttplate. Although the rifle is unfired, it does have a small chip on the right side of the forend near the band, where it was damaged in shipment. As mentioned, the rifle comes in the original box, with factory manual, the box has shipping tape on it, but is in excellent condition. We anticipate quick sale of this rifle, it is a real beauty!
