| U.S. 1864 Wm, Mason Civil War Contract Rifle. Stock # SP COMM. No serial #. An excellent Civil War rifled musket, this Wm. Mason (Taunton) rifle is chambered for .58 caliber. This rare and collectible rifle is in overall great condition, finish, and stock condition is 90%, and the bore is very good. The Mason-marked lock and trigger work just fine. The stock has been lightly sanded, and all cartouches have been obliterated. The “P” is still visible on the barrel, however the “V” and eagle are missing. The butt is marked “U.S.” with a rack number. A very honest gun in great condition, this rare rifle will enhance a good Civil War collection, and it certainly is an investment as well. This rifle is an antique. With proof of age 21 or older (required for purchase) we can ship the gun direct to your home, an FFL license is not required. jacksonarmorypower!
