| Stevens Model 44 Ideal .22LR Rifle. Stock # MSR152012SP. Serial # 72xxx. This very collectible Stevens Ideal rifle is chambered for .22LR, and it is in nice condition. The lever action rifle features a crescent buttplate, and ramp rear sight. Condition – wise, the rifle’s finish rates about 90%- with some evident freckling, especially on the barrel, but there is no rust or pitting. Stock condition is pretty good as well, rating 90%, with only minor service dings. The bore needs a good cleaning, but it is good, rating 85-90%. Trigger pull is smooth, however the spring tension in the hammer is a bit loose, and this will probably need adjustment if you plan on shooting the rifle. Overall, this is a nice Model 44 Ideal that will be a good addition to your collection. We do not have the box for this rifle. jacksonarmorypower!
