Colt Lightning Magazine Rifle, .44 Caliber (44-40), 26" round barrel, rifle butt plate, with British proof marks. Rifle has turned an overall plum brown with the exception of the left side and bottom of the receiver which have retained a good deal of the original blue. Bore is strong with good rifling and no pitting. Stock has a few handling marks but there are no splits or cracks. The consignor states that the serial number on the bottom tang was restamped at sometime in the past. The serial number is also stamped on the bottom of the stock just to the rear of the bottom tang. This rifle was manufactured in 1896 and is thus an antique, which can be shipped directly to the high bidder. ASR227-CJB

Nice Model 1881 Marlin. Has heavy barrel,deluxe wood,checkering on wrist and forearm with factory pistol grip. 50 % original blue,excellent bore. An attractive overall look. Scratched into the left receiver is J Dickson Nov. 1 1898. There is a stress fracture on the fore arm. It also appears to have had a crack that has been restored and blackened in the wrist.

1881 Marlin 40-60 Lever Action Rifle, Antique. Stock # AR-M40/60EE. This is a 1881 Marlin Lever Action Rifle in original and un-restored condition. Chambered in 40-60 caliber, it has a 28" octagon barrel and is serial numbered 1976. Assumed to be 1882 production, available records start in 1883 at SN: 4001, 1881 production numbers by several authors are listed at 600 to 800. Third Style Lettering on barrel, which contains: REISSUE NOV. 9, 1880. Rifle was made using a Burgess Patent and other patents. Bore is shootable, with strong rifling, frosting and some pitting. Metal shows large amount of original blue remaining. Wood is original with some oil/varnish build up. Overall, this a very nice condition antique rifle.

Winchester 1894 Special Order 26” Bbl, Button Mag, .32 Sprcial, Mfg. 1911. Stock # MSR302113SP. Serial # 576xxx. For the Collector, this is a nice 94 Winchester. Manufactured in 1911, this is a special-order rifle. Chambered for .32 Winchester Special, it has a button mag and a 26” round barrel. The rifle has a factory blue finish and smooth wooden stocks. The rifle has finish wear on the barrel, most of the finish is gone on the receiver, it has patina, small spots of freckling, and service marks on the stock. The rifle’s lever action operates smoothly, and the bore is crisp with strong rifling. We do not have any accessories for this rifle.

RARE Antique 1873 Winchester in .22 Long cal. Mfg. 1892. Stock # RT COMM. Serial # 411xxxB. This is a RARE find for the Winchester Collector – an 1873 Winchester, made in 1892, with a very RARE .22 Long chambering. The rifle has a 24 ˝” octagon barrel, a crescent buttplate, and it retains the dust cover. The rifle’s finish is gone, there is lots of patina and freckling, the stocks have been sanded and varnished, the bore is somewhat dark, and the action is a bit sluggish, however the rifle looks really good, and it certainly is a rare chambering. We do not have the box or any accessories for this gun.

Marlin 1893 Takedown Model .30-30, Mfg 1900. Stock # MSR210716EE. Serial # 198xxx. This is a vintage Marlin Model 1893 “Safety” lever-action takedown rifle, made in 1900, and chambered for .30-30. The rifle has a 21” round barrel with a graduated ramp rear sight and a high partridge-style front sight, and it has a crescent-shaped buttplate. The rifle has lots of patina and freckling, and the nicely-grained wooden stocks have darkened with age, and they have numerous service scratches – overall condition of the rifle is about 75%. The rifle has a somewhat crisp bore, the lever action works smoothly, and trigger pull is smooth as well. This is a very collectible Marlin rifle that will be a nice enhancement to your collection!
